Rio Vista Outdoor Amphitheater Seating Chart
The seating capacity for Rio Vista is at approximately 3,000. The best seats are in Section 103 as you will be right in front of the stage to watch the full act of your favorite artists.
As mentioned in the Venue Info column, seats in Rio Vista Outdoor Amphitheater are very intimate. It is to be expected that there is about less than a foot of space between the rows for Floor seats. If you are anywhere near six feet, your feet may have to go under the chair in front of you and if anyone wants to leave the row, everyone has to stand up. Also, the chairs are laced together with plastic ties so they cannot be moved, not allowing any space at all. These plastic chairs are to be said to be very narrow even for an average size American. People are literally shoulder to shoulder.
The bleacher seats are backless concrete seats thus, may be uncomfortable for those who have back or hip issues.
Floor seating
The floor section is positioned directly in front of the stage, providing an up close and immersive experience. These seats are set up using plastic folding chairs, which are tied together and cannot be moved. Front row seats are regarded as the best seats, as you are closer to the performers, while enjoying extra legroom compared to the rows behind. Section 103 is the most central to the stage for the best views of the shows.
Bleachers section
Behind and to the sides of the floor seating are rows of bleachers, which are backless concrete seats. Sections 204, 205 and 206 are facing the stage and will provide more central views.
